Hello all!
Hi,
I'm a new rider (2 months) & recently got a 1986 Rebel 250 for a good deal. Other than the minor mechanical issues with the bike here & there, it's fun to ride. Looking forward to getting some great maintenance/ modification tips from here.
-Rey

Hello and welcome.
Have you had the MSF course? If not, I highly recommend it.
Enjoy the Rebel.

Agreed. If you are an inexperienced rider, the MSF course can save your life. The streets have never been safe for motorcyclists, but they are far worse now. We don't stand much of a chance against all those cell phone drivers out there. Jerry.

Welcome Rey, the bike is definately a lot of fun. That's part of the reason it has a cult like following. Ditto to the MSF course!

Welcome to the forum. The '86 rebel is a good bike. If you have any questions there are good bunch of people here who will help any way they can. Glad to hear about MSF. A good way to stay alive.
Ride safe
