Welcome. I like it. It looks just like my '04 did before I did some of those mods. Looks like the same color. I like your Harley too, but I want one '98 or older, non fuel injected. Jerry.

You are right, but from everything I've found out, the EVO engines seem to hold together very well when built right, and to stock specs. There are also a number of aftermarket parts out there to improve their reliability. I'm not looking for power, I'm more interested in simplicity and something that is easy to work on. (I hate electronics) I'm looking for an Electra Glide, because I'm an old guy (51) that likes to ride long distances, I want a comfortable bike with plenty of room to carry stuff.

I'm an auto mechanic, and I much prefer the older '60 and '70s American engines to the new stuff. So much simpler, easy to work on, and run great. I built a 600+ hp 400 c.i. drag race engine out of a Chevy small block that has held up well to over 3 years of weekend racing. I have never been beat by a front wheel drive anything. My daily driver is a '64 Fairlane with a 200 c.i. straight six, that is still running great after 46 years and close to 200,000 miles, and to my knowledge has never been apart. Gets good gas mileage too. Jerry.
