First Rebel, First Motorcycle

Well after wanting a bike for 2 years, this is the first bike I will own. I actually wanted (still do) a Harley Iron 883 but its over my budget right now. Also, since I'm a new rider, I figured it'd be better to start off "small". After looking on Craigslist for bobbers, I saw this beauty. Traveled to El Cajon from Anaheim to go see it. And I ended up giving the seller a down payment. I will give him the rest of the money once it arrives this Saturday. I cannot wait until it gets here. I'm really excited

here's more pictures:

Hoping to change it up a bit once I get more familiar with motorcycles. But I'll just enjoy riding it until then.

Welcome to the forum...

Consider putting on a front fender, at least until you have gotten your 'sea legs'. Tough enough learing a bike without the extra crud thrown in your face all the time. Plus it will stiffen the front forks.

Also suggest the BRC and read "Proficient Motorcycling" by David L Hough. Excellent book.

There are clamp-ons available that you would use your stock headers if they are good. There are a bunch through JCWhittney. That's where I got my 30" fishtails. Shadow Shack has some excellent instructions on the reducers needed. click on the link in his signature to find it.

^Thanks. I'll check them out.

Just got the bike about two hours ago. Can't wait to go ride it after work.
