Beginner rider in Maryland
Hey what's goin on, I just got a 2003 rebel last month and I've already put 400 miles on the thing commuting and joyriding. Passed the BRC and got my license just a couple of days ago and I'm loving it. I took the test on a Yamaha Virago 250- it seems to handle way differently than the rebel, almost as if it was heavier...
anyways, I'm trying to find a sissybar so I can put all my stuff on the back, but it seems as though cobra has a monopoly on luggage racks and backrests. Anyone have any suggestions for one that won't obliterate my back account? Thanks, and if anyone's from MD and wants to do some backroads riding just let me know!

Greetings macfuzz,
Welcome to the Forum. Congratulation on your choice of a Rebel.
Use of the Search Function will provide you with a lot of reading of a Sissy Bar.

Welcome macfuzz. Have you tried Jacks Rebel warehouse? He has good prices, excellent service and he might even have used stuff for even less.

Yep, Jack's for the backrest! If it were me, I'd get the slightly more expensive backrest. For the $50 difference it is worth it! The better backrest is almost identical to the original HondaLine backrest. The only difference that I know of is the original HondaLine had the Rebel logo embossed in the back side of the vinyl pad.
