tank installed

Finally got the tank and shot a quick coat of paint. It is noticibly wider, feels funny when the leg hits it... Its a direct bolt up, just gotta remember to get back underneath and plug the darn vent tube...

Looks really nice! I'm glad you posted a picture. I'm thinking of changing the color of my bike, but if I do the gas tank might get bigger.

Do I have to strip the old paint color, or can I paint over it? Which is better.?

It's really best to strip the paint completely so you don't have conflict in paint types. But, a good primer will also take care of that issue...

Tank Vision R1 fuel tank, got mine through Extreme Motor Sales. nice folks, just don't try to order via interweb...

My bad, cagie. I just finished reading this thread in its entirety. Vision R1 tank... yeah, I can read. That bike is very tastefully built.
