Just another beginner attempt at bobber

So I am totally new to all this...
Bought a 2002 rebel the other day with only 28 original miles on it...
Won't idle properly, so I deep clean the carb and adjusted the idle screws and stuff.
And figured, why not start a low budget bobbing.
So here goes....

Starting with the rear fender of course.
Skipping ahead, removed the rear assembly by taking off the springs and disconnect the lights.
Cut it right behind the stop light wire holder.. and there's a mock up (picture 1)
Measure some more so the frame can bolt right into the first holes where the turn signal used to sit.
Rattle can and 2nd mock up, bolted in.
Bought some $55 solo seat with kit on eBay... And realized that there's no where for seat spring to go....
So glad I'm only 125lb... So I cut the spring in half and use all the spare parts from the lighting system to secure the seat spring in place. (Picture 4)

And now I am rattle canning and waiting for my $7 a set turn signal to appear.
So to be continued...

That's a unique approach to the seat springs.

Thanks
Here's a break down photo of parts I use for that spring mount. All from parts I remove from rebel. (Except the spring itself, that came with the seat)
Some from the stop light, some from turn signal, and screw from plate light that goes behind the rear fender... Since all are 10mm, they work together perfectly.

Still waiting for the turn signal to arrive. So I've decided to cut the pipe.
5.5in from end tip... And I found this.. o.o baffle?
Looks interesting, so decide to go with it to keep some pressure (I think that's how it work?)
And just spray it with some vht matte black

New Plate holder = old plate holder bracket cut off from the 90 degree + part of passenger feet rest.

I don't have a welder, so I have to be creative..hehe
