I think she's got a Dunlop on the rear. It's a 150, but I don't know all the specs.

I put a 150/90/15 Maxxis on mine recently and an Avon 90/90/18 Road Rider. The 150 on the rear is much wider than factory. So wide, that you can't drive without removing the rear fender or putting struts on the rear. Or something like that.

[bobbing it is part of the fun!

bobbed rebels or bobbed bikes in general? chicago's craigslist often has rebels bobbed already - but if your looking for a bike in general that is bobbed - so many out there.

Hi DaPeach, I really like your bobber. I'm new here. I'm in NZ.
I have decided to buy a Rebel 250 and convert it to a Bobber. I'm looking for the bike at the moment, and starting to collect the parts to do it while I wait for the right bike.
I have been looking at pics of the rebel frame with regard to mounting a solo seat with springs on it. Because I don't have the bike right in front of me yet, I have a few questions and am wondering if you can help?
I have attached a pic of a rebel frame, with a suggested mounting spot for drilling 2 holes for bolts, to mount the springs to.
My main question is, would there be enough metal in this spot to drill a hole through for a bolt(say 1/4"), and could you fit a small bolt up thru the hole, with the bolthead underneath?
Here's the pic

measurement please

hey could someone please measure this for me as well, on their 250?
It's the distance from the bolt mounting the tank at the rear, measuring back to the centre of a line between the 2 proposed holes for the springs to mount to. It's so I can work out what size solo seat to order for the project. Pic attached
Thanks

Or...a bolt facing down with the nut underneath.

sorry to ask so many questions, one more thing I'm wondering...what did you use to bolt your T bracket on the seat to, at the front, to get it mounted onto the gas tank bolt? any chance of a close up pic? thanks!
