Fire Breathing Rebel

Ok, so I just finished the flames on the rebel tank. It will be mid week next week before I get it cleared, I am going to hand paint pin stripes around the rebel badge in baby blue, but the stripe paint wont be here until monday. So then its off to clear. In the meantime I'll be working on the fenders.

SWEET! Most flame-work looks like they've been surface-"placed" or then there's ghost flames & these are all good in the name of Tradition & aesthetic. But with the depth & layering that you've done, the tank looks like it's actually on fire! GREAT job, cTc!

I think once I get the fenders done, and find a bike to put them on (or if someone buys them) It will be one of the badest rebels on the road. Not to forget the rear fender for this set is solo seat now, so there is lots of painable surface there.

Cool! More surface area to work with must be a painter's dream, eh ? Again, very well done!

Thanks, just got a 2001 ducati 996, I am starting the fire work on it this week.

I plan to use this bike for a "How To" on the fire paint work. But we'll see how that turns out. I have 2002 ultr classic coming in in 2 weeks for paint as well.

Later
