I have a pair of cell phone holders on my Reb. They are made by River Road, and can also hold a bag of groceries each, as well as a few tools, my keys and other miscellanea. When I'm on call, I have a beeper. If it goes off, I know to stop somewhere and get my phone out of the saddlebag. I like your design for the holder, but if I get a GPS, I'll go with something with a larger display. I don't honestly think I could make any sense of a screen as small as a cell phone without being too distracted.

I made a handlebar mount for my camera from a couple items from Home Depot and things laying around the house.

I've used it to make a couple vids of some rides.

That is a good idea for the gps function on my phone. I love my Bluetooth helmet. It streams fm radio, iPod and phone calls.

im gonna have to agree3 that cells and navigation of any vehicle should not mix. i keep mine on vibrate all the time and usually pick a ringtone that includes some sort of high pitch in it. if i hear it or feel it, i can pull over and park when its safe and use my caller id to see who just called. finding out immedialy that the wife needs eggs or a quart of milk to be picked up on the way home is not worth risking my life or anyone elses. i will admit to whipping out the cell phone and snapping a picture of a funny bumpersticker and such but only while stopped at a light when its safe to do so. before attempting this i always make sure that i have just stopped at a fresh red light so that i have time to do it without holding up traffic. how does somebody text while driving a motorcycle? well for starters you need to let go of the handlebars with both hands. then you might as well make yourself comfortable before the impact.

I DO NOT CONDONE THIS!

Dang.. that is just... well.. stupid...
I have my Tom-Tom gps on monted on my bike.. I like having it cause if I am on a road I have never traveled before I can see if a curve or intersection is just ahead at a glance... If I use for actual directions I enter the information in while I am stopped, either before I leave for the ride or at a gas stop along the way...

As for my cell phone.. yeah, I leave it off and check it when I am at a gas station stop.. I have blue tooth and it is synced with my helmet.. but I just don't like to be bothered when I am out riding.. LOL

I need to attach a coffee cup holder, but I can't find a good place. :3

Maybe I should mount it to the engine, to help keep the coffee hot. <_<

(50% joking... >_> )
