A good rule of thumb is don't make the bars higher than your shoulders. Hold your hands up and out past your shoulder line and then hold it for a few seconds and you'll see what I mean.

I was trying to figure out where that was based on the sign. I mean come on, could it really be legal?

I'm all for the right of each individual to choose what risks they will take, but this guy looks like a hazard to navigation for those around him. I'm trying to picture how he could make a sudden course correction to avoid a hazard, and maintain control. I've never tried to ride anything like that, but wouldn't your center of balance be way above your center of gravity?

Wisconsin?

Wisconsin would be my best guess too..

Everything in that pic is just soooooo wrong. The guy is literally hanging from the bars with his legs up on highway bars or whatever. A slight emergency move, a good hard dip in the road, i think, would have dire results. Its totaly outrageous, unsafe and ignorant.

This coming from a guy who really likes chops, but that particular bike is a danger to himself and others...

You can't fix stupid, and it's not the bike's fault!

well, if there is an envelope to be pushed, some idiot will push it. I love tall apes, but there is a limit.
