Bought the wife her own 2007 Rebel 250 almost a year ago. I call her POKEY, but she calls it her Littlehog. Gets over 70 mpg and she keeps up with me on my 750cc Shadow.

I was told that I have a 94 Rebel 250, but I don't even think they made a rebel that year. I currently live in Japan so I don't know if they made that model here. Is there anyway I can check to see what year my bike really is? I would really like to know. Thanks.

My bike (2001) has the year of manufacture on the front fork area. Not sure where they marked other years.

Okay now, folks, as I read about how wonderful your bikes look I can't help but glance at your profile where it says, "My Photos". And what I see is "0". C'mon, share 'em. There are some great looking bikes out there, I'm sure.

Nice looking bike. How do you like the crash bar? I've been thinking of getting one, but I don't want one that will drag the ground. Yours looks nicely tapered at the bottom.

I have that bar on my Rebel. Drug both sides in the MSF course, but haven't since. My instructor was concerned about the width. Sure don't want to drag it above 15 mph! Could lead to a shiny side down situation. It does lend itself to mounting floorboards or pegs to stretch your legs out.
There is a smaller bar made in China/Hong Kong, but it is so narrow I'm not sure it would do much good. The one I ordered came rusted and felt pretty flimsy. Wasn't confident it was strong enough to hold the bike off the pavement if we went down, and returned it.
