Suddenly no blinkers, brake light or horn
Hi guys. Hopefully, someone can help me out here. I was riding the 450 to work today and suddenly my blinkers, brake light and horn stopped working. I checked both fuses under the seat and all the connections and can't find any problems so far. Is this something common?

Don't have a 450 manual so can't confirm how many fuses the bike has and where. Sounds like there may be a short somewhere.

I looked up the wiring diagram for the 450. It shows five fuses.

Here's a link to the diagram.
Honda Rebel 450 Wiring Diagram
Now you just have to find what caused the fuse to blow.

The fuse box is behind and under the handlebar on the left side as sitting on the bike. It is about 1 1/2" wide and about 4" long with a black screw holding it closed. Check there and also I have had the plugin's under the turn signal indicator come lose and cause things not to work. To check those you must remove the 2 bolts holding the speedo and the turn signals in place with a #10 socket or wrench.
Good luck
Ride safe

Thanks for the replies guys. I have been fooling with old VW's for many years and have found working on this rebel to be very similar, so hopefully I'll be able to work it out. I saw exactly where that fuse box was, just didn't know it was a fuse box. I'll check it out today. I bought a repair manual off ebay and hopefully will have it by tuesday.

Well, it was just a fuse. Got it replaced, figured out where the short was that blew the fuse in the first place and now I'm back on the road. Thanks again for the quick replies.
