I've seen a bunch of support brackets and wanted to see what people recommend. There are strange loop shaped ones on eBay along with what appear to be copies of the cobra style brackets (maybe mc enterprises) and of course the expensive cobra ones. Are those cheap loop shaped ones even proper for the rebel? Will these all work with luggage racks and sissy bars installed?

I have the saddle bag brackets by MCEnterprises and like them a lot. They're very sturdy. I also had the luggage rack by MCEnterprises also. Never put a sissy bar on.

I have all three. The bag brackets sit slightly skewed because they share a mount with the sissy bar. It isn't noticeable. The luggage rack has different mount points, so it isn't a problem.
