I paid $3350 for my new 2009 Rebel in St Louis. That's the bike + prep + processing fees. But not taxes. So $2794 sounds very good, assuming the fees aren't excessive.

The OTD (out the door) price is what's most important. Are there any other fees or costs they want to tack on?

I looked their webpage over, I can't find anything about fees... I am assuming I will have to pay sales tax unfortunately. Their website says "no hidden fees" I can call them and ask them before I drive all the way down there.

I just bought a new Suzuki from a dealership that advertised "no fees"....

They kept to their word! I did pay sales tax (that is the state charging that, not the dealer, and registration fees, also state charges, not dealer)

I did not pay destination charge, assembly charge, dealer prep, or any of those typical BS charges..........

That price seems almost too good to be true, but you never know.....it is an
'09 and dealers are hard up for customers in these hard economic times.....

That is an excellent price if they really don't have hidden fees!
Tax, title, and plate costs are from the state, so they are understandable.

It is a reputable dealership as far as I know... I've actually owned ATV's from that dealership when I was younger. They are in another state, so I would assume I would dodge their state's sales tax, I do know I will have to pay tax, license, registration in my own state. However my state's tax is significantly lower than theirs.

I am in KY, we have a 6% sales tax, the dealer is in TN, they have (I am pretty sure) 9% sales tax. I am assuming I would pay KY tax when I go to the court house here to get registration etc... and NO TN tax.

I'm pretty sure that you will pay the local sales tax at the time and place of the sale. The only exception to that that I know of is online sales. Even so, it sounds like a great deal.

You pay tax where the sale was made. And if you live in Ohio, you'll also pay a sales tax for any online purchases. The state wants their greedy fingers in everything these days!

Here in Tejas, we have a state sales tax in lieu of state income tax. It's currently 8.25%, and there are local taxes on certain items above that.
