noise
i have just recently noticed that when i get from 38 mph to 47 mph i here a ticking or a rattling sound i thought it was comming from the the motor but im not sure but when i speed up past 47 mph and up it stops so i am wondering if it is just a lose bolt or a screw some where case it runs fine and does not lose any power.

It's a good idea to periodically go over the bike and tighten any loose bolts, fasteners, etc. I use blue threadlocker on almost everything so it doesn't rattle loose so much.

A common rattler is the headlight ring... certain RPM vibrations set it off...

Mine the one way roller clutch for the starter chain makes noise usually when I run longer distances then take off from a stop, but then it goes away. Only does it soetimes though.

I had several things that rattle at difrent rpms. the stops on the end of the handle bars, the gas cap, had a couple loose bolts... just had to go through and try to isolate where I thought it was coming from while I was riding and then go back and look for loose things.

My bet is on the headlight ring or tag mount.

Mine used to rattle because an exhaust stud came loose.
Thank God I got that fixed. haha (only took 3 or 4 tries.)

My headlight buzz tells me when to shift.
