I intentionally held off posting any comments, but I did want to add my two cents worth to the fray after it was done, not wanting to influence any thoughts.
Like someone said before, judging different types of bikes in one "class" is difficult. It all comes down to peoples choice, what thier personal preferences are. I have judged bike shows before. It's really hard to judge a bike that has all bought bolt on parts versus a totally hand made bike. Hard to tell if the heart is in the same place or whether the wallet is fatter.
To judge stock bikes, that is, with very little to no accesorising, is hard as well. What do you look for? How clean is the bike (could show dedication, or lack of a life

), how many miles are on it (not a good choice, too many people just can't ride that much even tho they love it

). Again, it comes down to personal preference, like, 'I like the '02 vs the ' because the coil wire is purple'

. It's just hard... It all comes down to "to each his own"
I have a saying: "perfect has no soul"
Honestly, I am suprised the Pony won. Heck, I didn't even vote for him. I figured there are enough stock bikes and people that prefer stock bikes on this forum to out-weigh the odds. Wouldn't bothered me one bit to loose to a stock bike either, even though I distain stock, but that's my personal preference. If you were to look at anything I own, ain't nothin' stock, everything has something personal to it.
And honestly, if you were to look close at the bike (someone said theirs was a good 5/50 bike, 5 feet at 50 mph) you would see all sorts of imperfections. But, to me, that's what makes it so fun. And he runs good and gets plenty of comments when we are out and about.
And above all, the main purpose of this BOTM is to build 'esprit de corps' in this family of like minded Rebels

and to have fun!
I humbly thank you for the confidence builder =)
