Bars...

What would it take to convince these guys that there is a market?

Lindby Custom

Everything else I've seen is less than aesthetically pleasing, at least to me.

Tell them to check out the forum and reference how many members there are.

Oh those type of bars! I was thinking of my favorite Scotch bar “Fred’s in Snohomish”

I don’t know if big crash bars are a good idea on a rebel. Crash bars can really hurt your turn angle but it would be nice to stretch your legs on!

Yeah, you'll have to do it the way we used to do things back in the olden days; write funny looking characters in paper, fold said paper and put it in a thing called an envelope, write the address on the outside of the envelope, put this sticker on it called postage and give it to that person wearing the blue uniform that brings bills to your house (make sure your dog won't chase them away...)

Or you could call them...LOL

If they were the only game in town, I'd have no choice but to do that. In a competitive market, however, a click of the mouse can take me to someone else's store in less time than it takes to say" Why don't these people want my business?"

Yup, but then again have you ever seen bars that have that kind of styling for a Rebel? I know I haven't. And I sort of like them, not that I personally want any bars, but I definilty like that style...

After my recent mishap, I very much want a set of bars, and that's the style I'd like, too. It's going to be awhile before I'm ready to buy bars, though, so I'll wait until the time comes before I spend thirty cents to call someone.

As Turbosully pointed out, large bars can be an issue but the upward angle of their bars appear the have decent clearance. I would suspect that Lindby's Rebel version would follow suit.

I really like that style bar with highway rests already designed into them. Might have to start campaigning. Maybe pull an Andy Dufresne (Shawshank Redemption) and just keep writing until they make it happen.

I've never seen anything like these bars and I think if you need or want them, they would make the Rebel look sweet in comparison to anything else on the market.

I did have a local guy willing to try and fabricate them and the only difference being is that he doesn't do chrome. Instead, he does powder coating. This might not be so bad either. Then just find a way to implement the rubber for the foot rests.

You'se guys did see the foot rests on Lindby's bars, right?

I've thought about these bars some time ago, and frankly, Fridge's mishap got me thinking about them again.
