Talking Amphibious Rebel...

So I was riding home in the rain this evening. Did ok most of the way home. I have a FF helmet and a Tourmaster jacket. Was only getting mildly wet from the knees down. Then, less than a quarter-mile from home, I hit a "puddle". It was at least 4 inches deep, about 30 feet long and all the way across the road. Hit it straight on at about 15 mph. Held steady throttle and plowed through. No control issues. BUT. The bow wave off the bike gave me a really good soaking from the waist down. My thighs formed a funnel that directed the water straight at my "personal" parts. That water was COLD! YEE-OWWW!!!. Squished into the house and disrobed in front of the washing machine. Was pouring water out of my boots and wringing it out of my shorts. Reminded me of the old water skiing maneuver know as the "hundred yard douche". So clothes are in the dryer, using a hair dryer on my boots. God I love my motorcycle!

ROTFLMAO!!!!!!! Sounds like you're havin' FUN! .........Was heading to the bank one day during monsoon season and it was sunny skies on either side of the road, but the rain was pouring buckets on me all the way.......only directly over the road, mind you!!!........Got to the bank, walked inside drenched from head to toe and the clerks were looking out the windows at sunny skies and scratching their heads like "WT..???".............

That's just plain old fashioned good fun there. Glad you enjoy your bike.
