yeah, i am a member of the other site too, and they do have some rude people over there. that is why i like this one better, so many more nice sounding people. i really hate it when i post a thread and all of a sudden people are telling how stupid the idea is or how much of a moron i am. atleast no one has done that to me here yet.

I agree. I follow both forums. Each has plenty to offer, but posting over there is a real crap shoot. You may get helpful responses, or you may get flamed.

Thanks. Once I get a couple other things out of the way, I'm going to add floorboards and a rocker shifter, and hard bags. I'm still working on an improved seat mod, but I haven't found the ideal material yet.

my dad is going to give me his old mustang seat from his dyna wide glide, i am thinking about trying to fab it on to mine. plus i have some old floorboards myself that i may put on, dont know yet. i may just stick to my CAFE RACER idea.

No harm in trying both options. If you choose to change course, you can always pass your mods on to someone else. Save them some of the legwork.

yeah, i guess so. the last bike i customized start out one way and wound up totally different. it was a stock bike at the start and by the time i got done with it, you could not tell it was the same bike. here, i'll try to post a pic to show. i did all the work myself in my garage, my dad painted it.

Top of the screen; vb image host; upload an image. It has to be below a certain size.

i tried to upload them but i think they are too big. i will try to resize them and then post them again sometime. or maybe i will post them in my garage folder.
