Still around

Hey guys, been a while since I've been on board, looksl ike everything has been running ok. Had to do the family member funeral thing, and then had a couple other things come up that took away from the computer a while. Once I get caught up with everything I am behind on I'll be back around on a regular basis.

Snorey, got you stuff ready, just havent been around to send it.

GJ, may have my first triumph, 60ish bonneville kicker. Have a guy who is in a financial situation and I never knew he had the bike, he dosent want to sell it But I told him I'd let him get it back when he got on his feet.

Later.

Welcome back, cTc! Figured you were busy with computer-related business, but you've mentioned more urgent matters. Please accept my sincerest condolences on your loss & please pass on the same to the rest of your Family as well.

(Good luck on the possible acquisition of the Triumph. Bummer that your friend is in such a desperate situation with the finances & I can understand his reluctance to sell. But your offer to let him recover it once he's back on his feet is righteous....only problem would be that once you had it for awhile, you might not want to turn it loose again )

If it were any other person I'd buy the bike to keep, But we go back a ways and I know its only a temporary situation he is going through, and I'd rather give him the money and hold the bike then I had see him run up credit cards. I have been in a situation like that a couple years ago, I went the credit card route and got in a mess, I'm back to normal now, but it was a expensive journey, not to mention its not fun being broke

You're a good man, cTc! Fully understand where you're coming from & friends like yourself are getting to be much too rare in this day & age. (Definitey know about the credit card trap as well. Went thru it myself & NEVER want to find myself there again)

Good to see you back CTC! Also kinda figured you had other pressing matters. Sorry to hear of your loss and my condolensces to you and your family.

I am putting the bike in the shop for carb adjustment and tires this weekend and won't be able to get it until "Master's Week" as I will either be working 6am-6pm or out of town. So send it when you can, no real hurry. I know you have other stuff to catch up on!! I don't know if you had time to look at some other posts but I put some pics on here of new equipment I have gotten for the bike(just wanted to brag a little ROTFLMAO!! )

Again, Good to see ya back!!
