Can't say I blame him. I've been frequenting the place less and less myself lately. Some people here tend to jump down your throat with no provocation, and there are those who blatantly ignore the questions as they continue their own tirades and agendas. A few members fit both categories. Doesn't bug me in the least, mind you --- I've been riding just long enough to develope thick skin for such behavior so I wasn't losing any sleep over such issues...but it simply becomes worth less in terms of allocation of time.

Someone above mentioned Jerry's safety-minded outlook. When I first returned to this place after a years-long absence (simply from losing the link and eventually forgetting about its existence), one of my earlier posts was just that topic and it turned into a 5 page pissing match. In that regard I can easily digest his claim of not fitting in, after all if you are left with the feeling like you need to surgically remove half your brain in order to better fit in... (that emoticon reflects a jest, it was made in humor. Some folks here fail to understand the concept of emoticons, so I have to explain that now in order to difuse the situation before it erupts). On that note I have no idea what spurned Jerry recently here, as I've been away for a while. The only reason I came back was because I'd heard elsewhere that the place was under new management so I figured I'd give it another whirl.

Jerry and I saw a few things eye to eye, and at the same time I fully 100% disagreed with other outlooks he felt strongly about. I genuinely like the guy, and I missed him at the other Rebel board whenhe left there. Maybe someone can forward that tid bit of new management his way so that he may consider taking another shot at it.
