Thumbs down Driver throwing a smoke out the window

OK, I know I should not crab, but as I was riding today an oncoming driver threw a smoke out the window and it bounced of my windshield, it scared the crap out of me. Now I don't know if I have the right to ***** because I smoke, but I do not throw them out the window of my car. Just wondering if this is a common thing or if anyone else has encountered this.

You'd think if he was going to throw it out the window the least he could've done was try to avoid hitting someone with it.

Some people just have no regard for anyone but themselves.

I have followed a person that flicked one out a car and I "caught" it. I handed back to him asking, in a nice manner, if he wouldn't mind paying attention to what/who is behind him. The guy got red faced and said sorry that he would... We'll see...

Last week was my first cigarette near miss, it was on coming traffic and I was sitting at a stop light. Wondered if they had something against bikes and let it go.

Today was a little different. I'm behind a guy with a trailer doing 35 MPH in a 55 zone and I couldn't pass him as he made sure that he had at least 3 feet on his right side for his trailer. On coming traffic slowed way down and pulled over to the side to let this guy go by, the road was very narrow. All of a sudden he starts pointing out his window like he's making a left turn so I slow down. Then he started shaking his finger like he was trying to get something off it. I hope the bugger hit the road before my bike went by. I just washed the bike for crying out loud!

I've never had a cigarette butt hit me, but it really pisses me off when I see people do it. Yesterday a guy was driving right next to me, and without even looking over to my side, he just pulled into my lane...I slammed on the brakes.....THEN he noticed me, and I saw his eyes get real big in his rear view mirror. So I then got in the other lane and passed him, and when we pulled up to the stop light he wouldn't even pull up next to me, either for embarrassment, or the fear of me getting of my bike and punching him in the face. I thought that was kind of funny, maybe he will pay attention next time.

I had a guy in a truck do the same thing to me today. Made it about halfway into my lane when I think his passenger started yelling at him and he went back.
Scared the crap out of me for a second. Got my high beam on and wearing a bright reflective orange vest, but apparently still not enough for that guy.
