Down! Down! We've got one on the ground.
Hey all. I hate to say it, but the mighty Honda WLA met mother earth and father asphalt tonight. I'm beat and bruised, not sure if anything is broken... yet. Has to puch her two and a half miles home after i came to. I'll take a look at her in the morn.
I was riding this nice sweeping curve and a damn cager came around over the yellow, forcing me to head offroad. we tankslapped then highsided me, but staying right at my back as i tumbled and slid bout 20 or 30 feet. The car just cept on driving, oblivious to what they caused...
I'm more pissed at myself than anything, but I made a choice to head off road, then try to squeak by and maybe headon...
All that work into the bike... Hope she's salvageable...

Ouch! Sorry to hear this! Makes me wonder if they were texting? I got a feeling the bruising will hurt more tomorrow.

Main thing is you're alive. That could have had a far worse outcome. You probably should get yourself checked over for concealed damage. Please keep us posted!

lol, it's alway good when you can at least still try to laugh , still, sorry to hear about it hope nothings to bad man, let us know what comes of it.
when I had my off road run the cager didn't stop for me either, the cop told me there was nothing they could do becouse there was no contact between us so it wasn't technicaly his fault.

Glad you seem to be OK and sorry to hear about the bike. Had a friend go down when a cage pulled out then stopped in front of him. They never made contact, but the driver stayed and received a ticket for causing an accident.

they just kept on cruisin along.. i didnt even get a partial. To be honest though, as soon as I saw the yellow between the headlights, i stopped looking at the car and started looking for my exit strategy. maybe any damage tot he bike will look more like its vintage battle damage and match the theme.
Time to get ready to go the the med center though.. lucky its literally right around the corner.
