87 CMX450 Complete with saddle bags for repair (thinking about selling)
I have a black 87 Rebel 450, and I bought it as a project, but I am not sure I want to dive into it. I did drive it home, but one cylinder has low compression. Everything is here, though! I did drive it home, but it was running somewhat badly. I am sure you can get this thing road worthy again, I just don't have time to dive into it. Comes with title (which I will likely have to transfer to me, then sign over the updated one).
$700 takes it!
BTW I have good references on ebay, and other forums (mostly musical ones). I can give you links if you need them.
You can email me at trevorus305@gmail.com
It's located in Urbana, IL. I can probably borrow a truck and meet you within 100 miles or so.

If we were closer to each other I'd take a serious look! I don't think the price is too bad.

Well, how far do you think you could go? If you're sure about it, I could see what I can do.

Your way too far away! I'm over a hundred miles from the Indiana border. I don't think it'd be fair to make you drive a long way just for me to take a look. No guarantees that I'd buy. The price is right up a lot of peoples alleys though.

Cool, hopefully this can be a great bike for someone. I love how easy it handled. Actually, if people really want, I could part it out as well.

Ok, parting out may be the way to go. I will take apart pretty much anything for the right offer. Gauges work great, lighting, ignition, wheels, brakes, exhaust is in great shape. Tank might be sold. If I can recoup what I paid for it, you can get some great condition parts.

I don't have any doubts you'll get your money back. Just sad to hear another one biting the dust.

Yes, but keeping several other Rebels from taking the mechanical dirt nap.
