I wish somebody would build a cruiser style motorcycle, and put an R1, GSXR1000, or some other liter class sportbike motor in it, without detuning it, or changing the powerband. The first cruiser, the KZ900LTD, was an inline four, as were most of the early cruisers. Yamaha missed a great opportunity with their Royal Star, which had a V-Max motor in it. But by the time they finished messing with it, it put out less than half the power of a V-Max. Where is it written that cruisers have to be slow? Aside from the V-Max, remember the V65 Magna? That thing would suck your eyeballs down your throat. It seems kind of ridiculous when a 600cc sportbike will run circles around a 2000cc cruiser. Due to health problems, I can no longer ride sportbikes. I love the looks and comfort of cruisers, I would just like some power to go with it. Jerry.

I agree. And it should be a lot more interesting than those staged, scripted, TV builds. Jerry.

Well, snagged the sawzall and had at it. Cut the backbone outta there. Felt pretty good doing it too as I fought the stupid thing nonstop on my other bike. Drug my DOM out and headed for the shop where I cut it up and bent it. Probably start trimming stuff later this evening. maybe fit some stuff up.
Air bag is out, going with a straight rigid.
