These are the first pics of the new bits I've just put on...
'98 Honda VLX switchgear, powdercoated black chrome.
Highway Hawk drilled grips
1" Highway Hawk (FWXG) Handlebars
Redesigned and recovered rear pillion seat....

Had to get the original Rebel risers drilled out to 1" by an engineer. See from the pic how tight it was!

Looks GREAT, sox! Everything works fine aesthetically & those grips especially look bad-ass!

Question on the O-ring passenger pegs....Did you use the stock peg/muffler bracket & then cut/grind down the muffler stay area to leave only the portion needed to install the pasenger pegs ? Definitely works & cleans up the lines!

Very well done all the way around....

Yeah. I just marked the line on the back and used a hacksaw to cut it off, then a grinder to take off the edges.

Definitely works & cleans up the lines!

Yeah, don't it! :) I've been wanting to do it for ages... But now that I've got the stainless exhaust on there (and I've got spare mounts anyways) I wanted to sort out the lines.
The garage I been using for the last 3 years is now letting me come in and use their tools/vises/grinders etc. So much nicer to be able to do it myself...

That's great that the garage is letting you use their place & tools. Sure makes life easier with access to a good work space. Problem with any home shop I've seen, is that once we've got the extra space, it tends to fill up with bikes & parts & then MORE space is needed, LMAO! The on-going dilema of never enough room.......hehehe.....but with someone else owning the garage, they can help to keep the temptation of gathering too much to a minimum for ya ;)

Ride Safe......
