I'm sure everyone else has high gas prices, we are stuck on $3.19 at the moment. Just curious to see what everyone else is having to pay.

It had been over the $3 mark, but was AMAZED the other day to find the low octane had dropped to $2.99 per gallon, LOL!!!
We made it below $3 this morning, were now at $2.95, with all the extra money I'll have, I just dont know what I'll do.

ROTFLMAO! I hear THAT.....
Might be easier to have my check direct deposited to the gas station instead of the bank.....hehehe....
we're now down to $1.95
Wonder how long it will last

Pretty amazing, ain't it ? Haven't seen prices this low in quite some time & it makes one wonder how it's being made possible.
IMHO, I've noticed that the price of gas has gone down in relation to a certain politician's "approval ratings". Can it be an attempt to regain support ?
Did see gas as low as $1.79 over the weekend, but has since made it back to $1.89 - $1.94

We're still at over $2 per gallon for premium unleaded (I don't usually look at the exact price, just fill up the bikes & go), but it's still cheaper than when the prices skyrocketed.
Thing that bugs me is that first they blamed it on Hurricane Katrina & having to tap into the oil reserves. Then they blamed it on a raise in prices from OPEC. Then all of a sudden, the prices plummet ??? Did they magically find excess reserves or did OPEC drop the prices THAT low ??? Doubtful. Only goes to prove that they've been gouging us right along

Remembered to check the price yesterday. Regular unleaded (for the cage)...$2.34
crapola -- -- -- back to $2.11 this morning.

I've got to pay closer attention to the price when gassing up. Quickly glanced yesterday & pretty sure it was around $2.40...

You probably do have the math right, Are. But part of the price that you pay goes back into things like education, medical care, etc, right ? Everything we pay goes into the pockets of the gas companies  LOL!

Yeah, thats true...No medical bill's at all! But it's not only the gas-prices that are high here, everything else is too....mainly due to that the goverment doesn't want to use anything from the enormous oil-fund we have......so they raise the taxes instead.

For years, the gas companies over here used the "excuse" that U.S prices weren't so bad compared to other countries, such as your's & probably most of Europe, Northern Europe, etc. But then I recently found out that the higher prices in other countries were due to taxes that were put back into the country's other systems for helping out on other services like the FREE medical that you mentioned, so the gas companies' excuse over here doesn't apply anymore.
As they say over here "Death & Taxes", two guarantees in Life.
