Just popping in & first off, wanted to thank CTC for the gracious invite!

Noticed more than a few familiar handles on the Member List & that's GREAT!

Sold the '85 250cc Rebel after scoring an '86 450cc Rebel for $800. It's roadworn (I LIKE that part, LOL!) but an excellent runner! Still riding the Trumpet & hoping to start in on another Triumph chopper project soon.

Not spending as much time on the computer these days & am by no means an expert when it comes to Rebels, but hope to find my way back here as often as time allows....

Ride Safe, Brothers & Sisters!

Sweet deal on the 450, I have a decent rear fender if you ever need one, but thats about all I have for the 450.

Glad you stopped in. Its been a while.

Swing through when you have time. And let us know how the next project goes. And if you were any darn closer to GA I'd be trying to talk you out of the 450

hehehe.....my landlord practically asked me to sell it to him after he rode it. Said it's more comfortable than his '95 Kawasaki Vulcan. Have debated selling it but figure at the price paid, I can run her at will & after a certain point, it'll be like riding for free.

I appreciate the offer of the rear fender, but this one is straight. There's a dent on the top of the fuel cell by the seat, but will fill that in & wait until spring to do the rattle-can paint.

On the first oil change, discovered that the oil drain plug is stripped, so got a self-tapping oil drain plug & will be attending to that soon. Already put some 7" Z-bars on her, removed the front fender, lowered the p-pad. Have a set of 250 shocks for lowering later & kept the EMGO 12" Shorties when I sold the 250cc, so for right now, will attend to the oil drain plug, cut the pipes, spray the headers with Ace Hardware BBQ Black & leave the EMGO's chrome for the accent.

After that, want to get into the next Triumph & will finish up the Rebel mods come springtime.

Hey, CTC, this is VERY cool that you've set up this site! Congrats & wishing you the best!
