Saw this on another board I belong to. The guy's in Austin, helping his buddy transform it from a stocker into something that looks cool on a tight budget. They're planning to finish out the hardtail, lose the swingarm, have the forks milled smooth, rechrome everything, drag pipes, custom seat, custom painted tank, etc.

I dig it.

Very cool! Always good to see a work in progress....and judging by the lead sleds in the background, it's obviously in a shop where there's no shortage of know-how & ability. Looking forward to seeing the finished Reb at some point.....

SSSSWWWWWWEEEEETTTTTTT!!!!

I love seeing bikes that are in progress and gives me so many ideas!!! Would love to see a little rake on the forks....maybe 4 or 6 over. Love the look of a hardtail, but the old bod couldn't take it for long   !!

I am wanting to stretch and rake the front end on mine, but that will come in time. Really not changing much after that....maybe some custom bars like some pullbacks (Captain America style).

Head full of ideas and a pocket full of lint ROTFLMAO!!

"Head full of ideas and a pocket full of lint".....you're doin' better than me, Brother.....I've only got a head full of lint.....LOL!

Hardtails aren't as bad as some folks make 'em out to be...at least for the rider. With the rider's position being in front of the rear wheel it's really not that bad.......Much worse for a passenger sitting directly above the rear wheel......Easily remedied, just have your wife ride two-up on the Wing instead
