More mods on the 450

I painted the tank a flat black & decided to go with a trailer rear fender which will also get a flat black job.

how'd you end up mounting that rear fender? does it ride okay with no struts?

Thanks! I mounted the rear fender the same way that Randy from the other honda reb forum bolted his, to the swingarm. It rides great without the struts....As you can see i have the fender mounted pretty close to the seat...Doing it that way i didn't need the struts.

I really like the "minimalist" look and you kept the exhaust a dual (my personal fav) instead of staggered.

Thanks Snorebaby, much appreciated... Like you i also prefer the dual exhaust over the staggered, never care for that look...I've been tossing around in my head the possibly of removing those pipes & welding on a set of dual exhaust shotgun pipes or drag pipes, but right now it's all in the thinking stages & haven't decided on that yet...One thing i absolutely will be doing is getting rid that whole air cleaner system & replacing it with pod filters. I will continue to post flicks as more things get added to the bike.
