I would like to know how everyone would feel about a poker run over the sourse of the event.
I have a cousin who has been in a coma since 1998 after hitting a cow in the road that had gotten loose from the field. Her medical bill have since topped $2+ million dollars.
Our typical runs are $25.00 per person, drawing one card at the start, makeing 3 stops along the route drawing a card at each stop, and drawing the final card upon the return to the starting point. The payout to the riders depends on the number of entrys and the remaing money goes to the family. The payouts are usually $100 for the best hand, $75 for second best, $50 for third and $25 for the worst hand. That is with a minimum of 30 paid participants, Also there we usually give out tickets to the paid individuals and draw for door prizes (donated by local businesses etc. or members here)
Of course if no one would be intersted, we would not plan the ride.
Feedback appreciated.
