Met this cool guy last weekend, hooked up today for a short ride. He'd told me about his homemade electric trike & I saw it this afternoon. Pretty interesting & innovative. Powered by 8 (I think) heavy duty batteries, rechargeable thru solar panels. The panels are seperate from the trike, so the range is only approx. 20 miles. He hooked up a 5 hp motor on the back for extra charging ability, but still needs to bump it up some more to make it a longer range runner. It's got two 15" Rebel rear wheels on the back, an 18" Rebel front wheel. Electric motors on each side to power the drive chains, one for each rear wheel. "3-spd electric shift control". One brake pedal to actuate both rear brakes at the same time. If he's O.K. with it, will try to get some pics..........

HotShott, If you're reading this, I apologize for the delay, but the schedule here has been hit or miss. Still haven't even gotten to the oil change, but that's on for tomorrow & I've borrowed the OL's camera, so will try to remember to at least take pics of the Reb with the EMGO's on before removal. Can also take pics of the Z-bars, highway pegs, etc.
