I've been riding Honda street bikes for, ohhh... about 30 years now. I'm on my 7th one now (an '83 V65 Magna) and have kinda stuck with Honda V4's. That is, until my daughter turned 18 and told me she's always loved riding with me on my bike and would like to ride one herself. So after putting her through the local motorcycle safety course, (or, signing her death warrant, as her grandparents feel) she got her endorsement. The bike they gave her to use in the course was a 250 rebel, and she just loved it. So we picked up a fixer-upper the other day for a couple hundred bucks, and we're making a nice bike out of it again. I am VERY impressed with a bike that I used to feel was just a little toy Harley wannabe. What a nice riding, smooth running machine it is!
