Does anybody here have any experience in ppp-ing their tins? If so, how did you do it, what did you use, and how did it come out?

Custom paint is my third real job, after CAD design work and WEB design work.

The key to good paint work is the prep. If the tins are rusty have them media balsted the straight to primer if no body work is needed. Use good paint, you get what you pay for, I only use House of Kolor, I pay more for it, but it is what it, the best. Allow proper flash times, using correct wet sand technique is also a good idea.

Its not hard work just a lot of steps and no short cuts. Short cuts will show up in the finished product.

If all else fails, send me the tins. I finally got around to spraying a fron and rear fender to match a new tank I have sitting here, I think I am goin to add some true flame airbrush work to the tins, then sell them as a paint set.

Just out of curiosity, how much would you charge to p/p/p a set of tins? It might be more cost effective for me to get someone who knows what they're doing to do it for me.

What shape are they in, and body work needed? Or if you could come up with some pics it would make it easier to figure.

Thanks
