Excellent! See a LOT of makes being represented & that's downright REFRESHING!
Plenty of very cool mods & looks like a lot of one-off frames in there. Very well done! Thanx, Sox......Totally right on!

Hey sox!
Great looking bike!! It must have been a blast to be at the show!
Do you have a website that details your mods to the bike? If so, I believe I have it saved in my favorites....it was the site that gave me the idea for my forward controls! I think I recognize the paint job on the tank!

If you go to www.rebelclub.org.uk and click on the "Evolution of a Rebel Chopper" link on the LH side it'll take you to the page I've built following it's progress.
I didn't realize your bike was complete.
It isn't.... One day....but not for awhile.
I'm hoping to put together a show quality bike over the next 3 years or so (before I move back to Canada at least...lol). Right now a shedload of bits have gone off for powdercoating. Next will be the seat being recovered into something more "modern" in it's styling (as well as lowering my seating position).

Yes, very true. That's why I like this particular show. The NCC have chapters all over the UK and Europe (The Dutch chapter was there as well). They epitomise the home bike building brigade and is one of the few biker "clubs" for non-HD customs around.
(Don't know if I'd be a member though. It's one of those "gotta be put forward" type backpatch clubs if you know what i mean... :) ) Although, there were a few different "patch" clubs there and no aggro or problems at all. Even the HA showed up as a group and it's the first time I've ever seen more than 1 at at time at the Ace...

The old saying of "always a work in progress" (my son's bobber has gone thru 4 different incarnations aesthetically, but he's got it nailed this time), and you're definitely moving in the right direction. As noted, that's one very SWEET Rebel! I've no doubt you'll attain the quality you're aiming for

If "gotta be put forward" means that the patch is "earned" rather than "given" thru paid membership.....understood & 'nuff said
Keep on choppin', Brother!

Yep Sox....that's the site!!!
I seen your forward controls and thought "how simple (to make) and functional". Just added a little touch of my own by tilting the bracket up. The stock footpeg is flat on top so I tilted it up to give me a better position to rest my foot. :)
I really like to work you have done to the bike.....I usually check the site every-so-often to see if anything new has been done. Gonna do a paint scheme to my 450 this winter. Also will do ALOT of cleaning and re-chroming when it is out for paint. Will put it in some local shows next year just for S&G  . I am not planning on "stretching" it out right now. (I have plans to do that when I purchase another bike to ride while working on the Reb.) Mine is more of a "slightly modified" stock. I am making some saddlebags for it also and will probably finish them this winter too. Just having fun riding it right now to stop long enough to do major work to it ROTFLMAO!!!
Keep up the great work!!
