2003 Rebel. In canada

Hi, I'm just going to purchase my new 2003 rebel. Its my first bike and I'm a shorty so I'm hoping it will be a good fit. For a first bike. I'm very excited. Any suggestions on riding or the rebel?

How fast can it go as it only has 250? I'm hoping once I get some clicks onto my belt I will move up to a bigger one as my guy drives a fast buell.

You should enjoy the rebel, it has plenty of power, tops out between 70 and 80 mph depending on conditions and any mods.

Just dont be in any hurry to get a bigger bike, wait until you are truely comfortable with riding, dont go bigger because the rebel seems small.

Thanks for the reply. I saw your pictures on your web page. Very nice. The rebel I am going to get today is black but I would like to paint it purple or blue but I'm jumping the gun. Just excited about having a bike I can ride. Me LOL.

You can always do a complete color change, or if you like just accent the black with another color, whatever suits your taste. Its your bike, nothing wrong with making it like you want it.
