New to forum

Just wanted to say hello to the forum members. I've had a Rebel for about a month now, still trying to get her going. I hope to get some advise from some more experienced riders.

Got an 01 250, it was wrecked in 02 and been sitting ever since. I've done the carb dismantle and clean. I'm working on the broken turn signals and foot pegs.

What you are trying shouldn't be to hard. What I did when I started modding our Rebel was to go around to different dealers and look at bikes. I looked at new ones and old ones, checked out every bike I saw in every parking lot. I also scoped out the parts walls, on line catalogs, everything I could find. You would be surprised at how much most people like to talk about their bikes and the mods they have done. Don't just stick to Rebels, I looked at all brands, all types. Never know where you will find inspiration from. The photo gallery here and on other sites can be a good source too.
