A request made for an area where those new to riding can ask questions in their own arena to get the answers they are looking for. So here we are, the Newbie Lounge.
Thanks cTc! I really appreciate you listening and taking the time to create this spot for us new to riding. :D

Thank you...Your forms have been very, very helpful.....Just won me a nice air brush on ebay to day....Planning on painting and modding my rebel this winter...I bought a 30T sprocket from jtr ,hopes it gets here by Wednesunday...I need just a little more top end..Im going to change out the pipes and jet it too...Some people ask ,why am I modding out a rebel?
1)its my first bike
2)cheaper than modding an HD(I have a family to support and its paid for)
3)how many rebels do you see that have been fixed up in your town(mine, their are none)
4)because I want too
Well, its been great chatten..

Welcome aboard, Larry! You made a GREAT score on that '01 with less than break-in mileage. Congrats!
Nothing wrong with modding a Rebel. It's low-budget, the bike lends itself to being modded & it's an excellent way to personalize one's own ride
Ride Safe.....
