1" bars and risers on a 450

anyone know of any risers for 1" bars that will swap out on a 86 450? I think a set of 1" dragbars or mini-apes would look great on the bobber project I'm working on, give it a nice "bulldog" look. And I know that I'll then need to switch out the controls for the bars. Anybody have advice or thoughts?

Find a set of mid 90's shadow 750 risers, they'll accept the 1" bars. Like you said you will have to switch out the controls and that will be the fun part. you could try to find a set of bars, risres and controls off a shadow and start from there.

If I can find all of that off of a Shadow, will it "plug-in" fairly seamlessly? I'm going to have to whole bike rewired anyway because I'm moving the fusebox and ignition off of the front, so it might not be that big of a deal. (Famous last words!)

If you can get a wiring diagram of the rebel as found here, and a diagram of the bike the set up comes from, you should be able to wire in the new controls fairly simply.
