Yet another refugee wandering over from the other forum. Been lurking for the past few days until I could get my account activated. Had a great time on the other forum and I am looking forward to hanging out with everyone here.
For those who don't know me, I own an '85 blue (painted just last month, was black) rebel bought used last year from a grad student who was leaving for NY and couldn't afford to park both his vehicles. Affectionately reffered to as "Lavi," not so affectionately reffered to as "D@*^ it, now what" on occasions when I make a stupid mistake or something falls off (like the bolt that holds the shifter in place!). She's my very first bike and I am absolutely in love! I couldn't imagine a better bike for me. So far she's been very forgiving of my newbie mistakes and very easy on the checkbook too.
