View Full Version : Greetings
I'm glad I found the link to this site! It looks like a friendly place.
I'm 52 and hadn't been on a bike since high school. Last fall, I took the MSF course and bought a '97 Rebel this spring - so I'll be sure to have some noob questions about the Rebel and riding.

Welcome to the site, Ken........
Any questions, just ask away. No one was born knowing all of this stuff & it's a continual learning process, which is kinda cool actually, 'cause it keeps the trip exciting
You didnt happen to get the yellow rebel did you? I always like the yellow. Welcome aboard, feel free to ask you questions at will, we'll do our best to answer and learn together.
Thanks for the welcome, GearJammer and cTc!
My Rebel is black, with the cream color on the sides of the gas tank. I think the yellow one is cool, but so is the black.

Welcome from another newbie! I've been here a couple of weeks or so, and feel very much at home. Really nice folks on this site, and helpful too. Glad to have another one of us over 50 here too!
Same here, been riding 2 months and I'm over 50 and love it
Welcome!

I'm also over 50 and have never ridden before, so this is really an adventure. Have only been riding a could of weeks after taking the MSF, but have put over 1000 miles on my white '06.
