Thanks to our gracious host I can rejoin the on line Rebel community.

I see a lot of familiar names here and look forward to meeting the rest.

I am a retired Marine, ex auto parts store manager that returned to aircraft maintenance. I rode enduros back in the 70's but life and a wife who didn't like bikes interfered with continued riding.
Jump to 2005, after fooling around with mopeds with my middle son I decided to buy a bike. The Rebel filled every block so the deal was done. Seven months and 7300 miles later I had the opportunity to purchase one of my dream bikes. I now ride a 1979 KZ-650C.
Remember the nay saying wife? She was tired of looking at the back of my helmet and seeing pictures of the little day trips I would take so she claimed the Rebel as her own. She completed the MSF course one month ago and has logged over 700 miles since.

I look forward to sharing what I've learned and learning more about these great bikes.

Dan

Almost forgot about our little stable of bikes.

1994 Tomos LX/TT, The only thing I've seen that gets better mileage than the Rebel.
1979 Honda 50, For the kids and grandkids.
1979 Kawasaki KZ-650C, Mine
2006 Honda Rebel, Dottie's

Hi Dan, glad you're here :D
I'm also glad to hear theres someone old enough here (like me) that remembers "enduros", nowadays they call them "dual purpose".
Enduros sure sounds cooler...
