Fragile shock

This is a new photo (chain cleaning time) showing the tear at the base of the left rear shock absorber.

I presume that my trip up a 4WD road caused this.

The Rebel suspension and clearance are not adequate for conditions worse than gravel roads. :oops:

Replacement shocks have been ordered; but nobody else needs to be as dumb as I was.

Just wondering John, did you feel the shocks bottom out, or is this just the result of a rough road without bottoming out?

I am sure that I bottomed out more than once.
