Hi I'm a new rider. Just got my Rebel last weekend, and will be starting the MSF course on July 11th. In the mean time my new baby is resting comfortably in the garage and I'm accumulating the gear that I'll need to ride safely. Of course every morning before I climb into my cage to head off to work, I give my Rebel a litttle pat on the seat. I can't wait until I'm able to ride it into work!!! I look forward to continued reading and learning :D , this place is great!!!

I think I'm glad I bought mine after I took the MSF...it would have killed me to not be able to ride it.

However, even sitting there in the garage, it's still pretty enough to just admire... ;)

3 things make it a little easier, one is that I've never been on a motorcycle in my life, so I'm very cautious, two is my wife won't let me :) three is that we leave for a 10 day dive trip to Cozumel very soon and I start the MSF the week I get back :D I'm really looking forward to riding it though!

Oh yeah, and my original plan was to wait until after the MSF to get a bike, but I happened to find someone who was selling this 06 rebel after having it for only 3 months, with 600 miles on it, and I got it for $1800, so I couldn't pass it up!

Good grief! $1800 ??? That's nearly 1/2 price for a brand new Rebel! Excellent score! CONGRATS!
