I'm probably the first one to report this but it looks like rebel250.com is down...

I'm about to purchase a 2006 White Rebel after I finished the MSF course tomorrow and do the written test next week. Really looking forward to getting my first bike. I've been using a blue Rebel in the class and it feels nice. I'll report back how the negotiation goes with the dealers around here.

Glad I was sent over to this forum from the other one. Looks like a really nice community.

Ron

PS: I was just joking at the beginning. :D

welcome aboard, good choice of bike, and congrats on prepairing properly. Hope you enjoy the site, and find it useful.

hey Vision...I had a new white 2006 in my sights down in San Antonio. Nice. But just in the nick of time a black 2004 showed up with 121 miles on it and I couldn't pass it up as it was much better deal. That was back in September and I believe they were asking right at $3500 out the door price for the 2006. Now that I have had the black one for a while I really like the color and I don't regret for a second buying a barely used 2004. The white was my first choice though. Hang in there an' you'll soon be scootin' down the road on your new Rebel.

BTW I was born in Sherman and lived with my grandparents in my early years on a farm just outside of Tom Bean (pop. 409). Heard of that little spot beside the road? :D

Hey George,

No, I haven't heard of that part of Texas but that's not surprising. I just moved here from South Carolina 2 years ago and still learning the area.

Finished up the MSF course today and got the endorsement to take to DMV on Tuesday. If I get through the written test then it will off to the dealer and see if that white Rebel is still on the showroom floor. If not I'm hoping they have more crates of them in the back (if dealers do things like that with Rebel).

Take care,
Ron

I agree. No bad attitudes here. If you look at the introductions in the last few days, a lot of us from the other forum have come over.
