I found this site when my other Rebel site shut down unexpectedly. That was the same site that caused CTC to start this site in the first place. Well it died again.
I have a 2004 Rebel and a 1987 Rebel 450. I recently added a trunk and small hard bags to the 250 and relocated the taillight and turn signals. I have also recovered the 250 seat adding additional cushioning and made a new pillion for the 450.
When the other site shut down we were organizing the Third Annual Southern California Rebel Ride. A big name for a few riders. This year we will be traveling from Simi Valley to Solvang for a coffee and danish. This will be all surface streets, backroads, and highways. No freeways. Very little traffic. We will take the 118 to Ventura, Foothill through Ventura, up past Castaic Lake, surface streets to and through Santa Barbera and then up the San Marcos Pass, past lake Cachuma and on the Solvang. Anyone is welcome to join. We will leave Simi at 9:00 and July 22.
