... on starting up the forum... hope it won't end up being too much pain in the ar$e to run. Looking forward to this becoming a fun community to hang in.

For those that don't know me (that is when someone else joins up) I'm a musician with a wife & 5 year old son and an 85 Rebel 250 which I've had since I started riding in May'04. I love this bike and am really enjoying riding, it has changed my lifestyle dramatically. However am also looking forward in the new year to moving to a bit larger bike (thinking most likely a VLX or 750 Shadow of some sort).

Looks like this forum is off to a grat start! I too ride an 85' Rebel, and love every minute of it! No matter what my buddies say about it not being enough bike. I'm looking for a Rebel for my wife as well, so if anybody hears anything of a good deal on a used Rebel near MI, let me know!
