Hi All,
I'm a transplant from the "other" board and and saddly selling my wifes Rebel but I thought I would share my H/C mod.
Here's a link to a pictorial of sorts, not really a step by step procedure but read the captions and you should get enough info to do the mod if you're mechanically inclined.

I have an update to my settings for this mod. I am now running a 112.5 main jet and the needle in the original stock position (no shims). I have tried jets from 125 down to 105 and 1 and 2 shims on the needle. My 'seat of the pants' dyno, plug reads and gas mileage tests all told me that jetting in the upper teens and lower twenties was just too rich. Now that I have settled on the 112.5 and no needle shim, acceleration is great, fuel mileage is back up and the plugs have a nice color.
I know most of you really aren't that concerned about fuel mileage on your Rebels but it can be a very useful tuning tool when dealing with pipes, airbox and jetting. These three mods differ from internal engine mods like cams, big bore pistons etc, in that they are 'freeing' the motors current capabilities and allowing it to be more effecient, so mileage should be as good, if not better, then stock and have more ooomph when properly tuned.
