that breaks my heart, I just invested $2k into a new web venture, 4 days ago I would have rather spent that money on your bike. I hate so bad we sold the wifes bike, and there arent many rebel out there I would just have to have, But I 'd buy that one in a minute. Who ever gets it will definately be getting a sweet ride.

Phil, I wouldn't be too quick to offload all the extra parts with the bike. You can recoup some of the cost by selling them separately, no point letting all those mods go for what a stock bike will sell for and give away the rest of the booty too.

On that note, I would be interested in the stock headlight if you still have it (mounting bracket too if possible), assuming it's the smaller 4 3/4" light I can't remember what year it went up to the 5 3/4" VLX bucket.

no doubt there is money in the stock parts market, I disassembled an 85 that I bought from a guy for barel nothing, when the smoke cleared I had $1175.00 and I still have the frame and engine. I made a quick $800 in about 7 days. And the rebel can go from riding to complete tear down in about 2 hours.
