Down here in the deep south, summertime is very hot and very, very humid... Leather roasts a rider. I emailed the folks at Fieldsheer and asked for recommendations on a safe but cooler riding jacket. They recommended a new jacket just out called a High Temp Mesh. You can look at it on their website. www.fieldsheer.com. I have heard that thier jackets tend to not run true to size, but I have also heard that this new one, the High Temp Mesh, is true to size. Can anyone recommend this particular jacket, or does anyone have a favorite hot weather jacket?
thanks

I just ordered one of These (http://www.leatherup.com/product.asp?pf_id=CF%2D500%2DGray%2DBlack) from leatherup.com - I got a leather jacket from them which I'm very pleased with. I followed their size charts and the fit was very good.

Thanks man! I didn't realize that they had added summer stuff.

The "good forever" discount coupon that they sent with my leather jacket almost paid the shipping.

Definitely thanks for the link... I had looked at their site before and I thought they just had leathers, my duh! Think I'll order one.

I have the Broush CoolTex mesh jacket with optional armor inserts. www.cbxman.com MCN gave it a best buy rating a few years ago.

One of the reasons I got it, aside from the endorsement from MCN...it was one of the few available in colors other than sun-soaker black and we get 110-120 degrees worth of sun during the summer months here.

It was comfy in 104 degree heat this afternoon.

The only shortcoming that I see is that the waist is not cinched.

John, is the size pretty close to true?
